Hepatitis C elimination among people incarcerated in prisons: challenges and recommendations for action within a health systems framework

Speaking of the article, INHSU Prisons, says: “HCV prevalence among incarcerated individuals far exceeds that of the general population yet care and treatment for HCV is extremely limited in correctional settings worldwide. In this review, we highlight seven priority areas that provide a framework to further HCV elimination efforts in correctional settings. We also provide case examples from diverse global settings that highlight best practices.”
