Our new virtual hepatitis C education program is heading to Canada next, with new workshop dates announced in three Canadian provinces throughout June and July.
Our education program is delivered in 10 countries globally and is suited to addiction specialists, general practitioners, nurses and other medical personnel who work with people who use drugs.
Free to attend, there are three mandatory parts of the hcv education. 1). two-hour self-directed eLearning 2). A virtual workshop via Zoom which builds on the eLearning content through interactive discussions on case studies, moderated by local experts 3). Access to our tailored toolkit of resources.
Alberta hepatitis C education program:

Following the course, attendees will be able to describe the risk factors for HCV infection to enable screening and effective prevention actions, be able to perform and interpret the results of diagnostic tests for HCV infection and recognise the risk factors, clinical signs, symptoms and complications of liver disease.
